British F3 driver Daniel McKenzie and American Euro F3 driver Jake Rosenzweig both had excellant results at their respective Races last weekend, July 17-19th.
Dan extended his lead in the National Class of the British F3 Championship to 60 points by winning both races at Donnington Park, England. Dan, who drives for Fortec, has been in many epic battles with Gabriel Dias his closest rival in the series and he has more than earned top-spot in the Championship. He heads to Spa, Belgium next weekend to contest the next round in the series.
Jake grabbed his first Podium and points at Zandvoort, Holland in what is his ’Rookie’ season in the ultra-competitive Euro F3 series (it is also only his second season in Car Racing).
I was personally very impressed as Carlin driver, Jake, showed great physical and mental toughness to overcome the sickness he had over the weekend. Jake has worked very hard on his conditioning over the last few months and those fitness reserves were certainly required in Zandvoort. He had to dig deep and give it everything to fight off the constant challenge of the chasing pack to achieve a much- deserved place on the Third step of the podium. Jake joins Dan for a guest appearance in the British series for the next round in Spa.
Excellant job, guys.
