Alexander Sims dominates Radical races

Current AUTOSPORT MCLAREN YOUNG DRIVER OF THE YEAR, Alexander Sims, took a break from Euro Formula 3 duties last weekend to win both races in the Radical European Masters series at Silverstone last weekend 12th and 13th September.

It was Alexander’s debut in sports cars and he made it with the works- based Radical SR8 alongside 40 other cars. It was an impressive performance as Alexander only had 10 laps to get aqainted with the car before Qualifying. He responded by putting the car in Second place on the grid for the first race and on POLE for the second.

Alexander resumes his Euro F3 duties in Barcelona this weekend.

In fact, all my drivers are racing this weekend. Jake Rosenzweig (USA) is competing in the same series as Alexander, whilst Jamie Green  races for Mercedes in the DTM series, which headlines the Barcelona event.

Daniel McKenzie, newly crowned British F3 National Class Champion, races at Brands Hatch in the final round of the series.

Alex Brundle travels to Imola, Italy to compete in the penultimate round of the Formula 2 series.

Dean Smith, who has just began working with me, is fighting it out for the tightly contested Formula Renault UK Championship at Rockingham. Dean is currently leading the Championship with 2 rounds to go.
