Fortec’s Oli Webb drove fantastically in Magny Cours, France to take two victories and one second place to snatch the lead in the British Formula 3 Championship.
It was a tremendous effort from Oli. He showed true grit, fitness and skill to combat the hot conditions and illness to head the Championship. These guys poccess a mental toughness that many people underestimate and Oli was testament to that in France.
Team-mate, Daniel McKenzie (who also works) with me had his best results of the season as he had two P3′S in qualifying and a fifth place in the last race. It was a big step forward for the reigning British National Class Champion and hopefully he can build on this positive result.
The boys next head this weekend to Hockenheim, Germany to contest the next round of the Championship.
